Oneida County Sheriffs deputies arrested 39-year-old Marguarette Michel, of Syracuse, for grand larceny after Oneida Indian Nation Police discovered she had stolen a purse at the Events Center. Investigators say Michel was at the Kelly Clarkson concert Thursday when she noticed a purse under a chair in the row in front of her. She allegedly took the purse and left the Event Center. Police say she then went to another area of the casino where she took money and credit cards out of the purse and threw the rest away. Michel did not gamble with any of the money stolen from the purse, although she planned on doing so, investigators say.
