Kelly Clarkson: 'Mr Know It All' - Single review

Kelly Clarkson 'Mr Know It All'

There aren't many pop-rock artists who have weathered the storm of urban dance music over the last few years, but one singer who has been left relatively unscathed is Kelly Clarkson. Since winning American Idol some nine years ago, she's not only one of the few winners to achieve prolonged success, but has remained dependable time and time again as the go-to for a sky-scraping pop number.

Thankfully she remains uncompromised on 'Mr Know It All' - the lead single from her fifth studio set Stronger. That said, it's certainly not the standard Kelly album trailer; substituting fast 'n' furious rawk guitars for a weighty piano riff - though her sentiments remain the same. "You think that you know me/ That's why I'm leaving you lonely," she tells her pompous and puffed-up beau, before insisting: "You don't know a thing about me." We're on your side, love - unless he's referring to your highly-trained ear for a pop anthem.
