Daughtry downloads nearly edge past Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All remained the best-selling Idol track this past week, but not by much. While Mr. Know It All sold 48,000 downloads, Daughtry's Crawling Back to You made its debut with 47,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The release of Scotty McCreery's chart-topping album Clear as Day helped singles I Love You This Big and The Trouble With Girls more than double their week-to-week sales. Four additional tracks from Scotty's album made SoundScan's Top Country Digital Tracks chart. Lauren Alaina also saw a nice increase, 32%, for sales of her single, Like My Mother Does.
