As the queen of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson continues to tackle the not-so-easy-to-talk-about issues. Set to a lullaby-like arrangement, she sings on the songs gripping chorus, Everybodys got a dark side. Do you love me? Can you love mine? The track is reminiscent of her earlier chart-topping single Because of You but with much more depth.

The song, which she recently performed at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, is a punch to the stomach for anyone whos felt the same.The video features several portraits of human life, including a man whos lost his job, a girl struggling with body image and a former beauty queen addicted to pills. Kellysstriking vocals bring the heartbreaking stories to life and transports the listener right into the middle of the action.With only subtle imagery, the viewer is able to take away what they will.
