Clarkson, Underwood rule 'Idol' track sales

By the time you read this, Kelly Clarkson may already have passed 3 million downloads for Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You). Having sold 80,000 copies last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, the single was at 2.975 million at the end of the day Sunday.

Carrie Underwood's Good Girl stayed steady with weekly sales of 50,000, while some of her catalog titles, like Before He Cheats and Cowboy Casanova, got a pre-album-release boost.

As for songs from last week's American Idol, sales of Jason Aldean's Tattoos on This Town rose 90% after Skylar Laine performed the song, while weekly downloads of Katy Perry's Part of Me actually dropped slightly after she performed the song on Thursday's results show.
