Kelly Clarkson goes to the 'Dark Side'

Kelly Clarkson sounded great Sunday night, debuting Dark Side on the Billboard Music Awards, and lots of bloggers raved about her slim new look. Kelly's new single enters the American Idol airplay chart this week at No. 98, but look for it to climb quickly. Her Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) remains the week's most-played song from an Idol act. Meanwhile, Kelly's Mr. Know It All remains at top-10 AC and top-30 Country hit.

Carrie Underwood's Good Girl, also a cross-format hit, nears 10,000 weekly spins -- it's at No. 4 on USA TODAY's Country airplay chart while also appearing on the AC and Hot AC charts.

Also on the format charts this week: Kris Allen, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Mandisa, Haley Reinhart and Ruben Studdard.
