Kelly Clarkson is 'head over heels' and 'getting married'
Kelly Clarkson has been dating boyfriend Brandon Blackstock for a year now, and the Stronger (What Doesnt Kill You) singer knew that her handsome beau was The One the very first time they met, admitting that she is so getting married.
E! News reports that the American Idol winners someday-husband is the son of her manager and stepson of Reba McEntire, who Clarkson has toured with in the past.
While talking to Ryan Seacrest on the radio Thursday, Clarkson said the first time she met Blackstock she thought, Dude I gotta know that guy. The singer then added, We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me and I was like, Oh were so getting married, I was so that girl. When he became single, I was on the prowl.
According to Us Weekly, just because Clarkson wants to wed her 35-year-old guy doesnt mean shes rushing into anything. Were taking it slow, and were enjoying each other, the singer said. Im from a family of broken marriages, but we will definitely break that trend one day.
And how is she so sure? Once you finally fall in love with someone and you are so comfortable with them, it makes you more comfortable in your skin, Clarkson admitted. It makes you comfortable as an artist and i! t makes you more confident. Im completely head over heels for him. He knows that.
