Chosen from a wide variety of events this weekend, from concerts like Kelly Clarkson at Cosmo and all your '90s favorites at The Last Summer on Earth Tour at The Joint. If theater is more your speed, catch Oliver! at Super Summer Theatre at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. Here are our best entertainment bets for the weekend:

    Friday: Kelly Clarkson at the Cosmopolitan

    American Idol's golden child, Kelly Clarkson, brings her tour with The Fray and Carolina Liar to the Cosmopolitan. Fresh off a CMA win for her duet with Jason Aldean on "Don't You Wanna Stay," Clarkson will be sure to bring all of the hits from her 10-year career. Tickets are $75 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

  • Morris Day, asking the rhetorical question, "What time is it?"

    Friday: Morris Day & The Time at Boulder Station

    R&B and soul band Morris Day & The Time perform at The Railhead at Boulder Station. Enjoy tracks like "The Walk", "Jungle Love" and "The Bird." Tickets are $39-$75 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

  • Friday: Reel Big Fish at the House of Blues

    Ska favorites Reel Big Fish performs at The House of Blues along with Big D and the Kids Table, Suburban Legends and The Maxies. Tickets are $20-$23 and the show starts at 6 p.m.

    Friday: Super Summer Theatre at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

    Super Summer Theatre at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park presents Oliver!. The British National Theatre Company of America brings its production of Charles Dickens' classic tale to life in the outdoor venue. Oliver! is the inspiring story of an orphan who remains diligent and optimistic even as he is mistreated by those around him. Bring the whole family and enjoy the songs and characters you grew up loving. Chairs are available to rent for $1 each. Tickets are $20. The performance begins at 8 p.m. and the doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

  • The Flying Karamazov Brothers bring their act to the Venetian this summer.

    Friday-Saturday: Flying Karamazov Brothers at Venetian

    The eccentric lunatics aka Flying Karamazov Brothers bring their unique brand of vaudevillian comedy to the Venetian Showroom, where audience members can challenge them to juggle anything ! under 10 ! pounds. Tickets are $50-80 and the show starts at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

    Friday: Yanni at the Thomas and Mack

    After selling out major concert venues around the world including Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Yanni and his Orchestra come to the Thomas & Mack Center. With his world-class orchestra, he'll perform music from his latest album Truth of Touch, as well as classic concert favorites. Tickets are $45-$85 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

  • Saturday: Christmas in July craft show at Stallion Mt. Golf Club

    Stallion Mt. Golf Club presents a Christmas in July craft show. Peruse a variety of items, both handmade and commercial, including decorative home accents, scrapbooks, purses and totes, jewelry and more. Admission is free and The Grille at Stallion Mt. will be open to grab a bite during shopping. Admission is free and doors open at 9 a.m.

  • Barenaked Ladies

    Saturday: Last Summer on Earth Tour at The Joint

    Multiplatinum pop rock group Barenaked Ladies brings the Last Summer On Earth tour to The Joint at the Hard Rock featuring Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and Cracker. Tickets are $36.50-$178.50 and the show starts at 8 p.m.

  • Saturday: ARTrageous at The Cosmopolitan

    The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada will host ARTrageous Vegas, taking place at the Cosmopolitan, featuring local artists in a variety of mediums. Each aspect of the program is designed to provide attendees with elements to help broaden and challenge their perception and definition of art in a fun and experiential way. The event will feature an exhibit highlighting works from emerging and prominent local visual artists. In addition, a smorgasbord of art manifested in its many forms will be located on the main stage and in multiple thematic salons: music, avant-garde fashion, improvisation, live performances, body art and more. Gastronomy will also be celebrated this year at ARTrageous Vegas through a partnership with Wicked Spoon. Tickets are $35-$60 and the event begins at 5:30.

    Comedic actor and musician Jack Black joins Kyle Glass to perform as Tenacious D at the House of Blues. Theyre touring to support their new album Rize of the Fenix. Tickets are $54-$84.50 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
