Kelly Clarkson prefers to go au-naturel

Washington, July 4 (ANI): Kelly Clarkson claims to be extremely low-maintenance when she's off-duty, insisting she lives in practically no make-up, jeans and a T-shirt.

"I put on the Hank Williams and the Patsy Cline and the Rosemary Clooney on vinyl - I'm not trying to be some cool indie-rock person, I just love the way it sounds - and throw on a T-shirt and jeans. In Texas, we practically come out of the womb in jeans," Contactmusic quoted Clarkson as telling Lucky magazine.

"I'm just a really normal girl. I just blow-dry my hair and put on mascara and lip gloss, and I'm ready to go. I really don't get long nails. They're so Edward Scissorhands," she added.

The 'Dark Side' singer listed her only beauty must-have as YSL lipgloss, which she is "obsessed" with.

Clarkson, 30, doesn't have a long list of favourite designers, but admits she has fallen in love with Herve Leger bandage dresses. saying: "They're like built-in Spanx." (ANI)
