WATCH: Kelly Clarkson Covers Katy Perry, Britney Spears On US Tour
WENNKelly Clarkson's latest tour has been a resounding success for her - not least because a point in the setlist dedicated to a different cover every night has gone down incredibly well with fans.
Before each show, attendees are asked to submit suggestions for a song the star could try her hand at, and then one is picked and worked into the performance.
This week, the original American Idol has covered Katy Perry's 'Wide Awake' in Concord, California, and Britney Spears' 'Everytime' in Las Vegas.
She explained that the latter, which was Spears' last No1 in the UK, is "one of my favourite Britney Spears songs".
Brit and Kel have both made their debuts as judges on talent shows this year. Whilst the '...Baby One More Time' popstar has signed a $15 million deal to front The X Factor USA's second season, Clarko appeared as a mentor on new ABC venture Duets, which was a middling success this summer.
Kelly's Stronger tour will finally make its way across the Atlantic to the UK this Autumn, with a string of dates supported by Cover Drive.
This year the single of the same name became her most successful tune to date in both the UK and US, outstripping 'Since U Been Gone' and 'My Life Would Suck Without You'.
