Kelly Clarkson 'Expecting' Engagement Before End Of Year
Kelly Clarkson is expecting an engagement proposal from boyfriend Brandon Blackstock by the end of this year despite the short time the couple have been dating.
The Breakaway star only started dating the talent manager at the end of last year but the pair have grown so close that the 30 year-old star is convinced they could be married by the end of the year.
"Kelly's expecting an engagement ring by late summer and to be wed by year's end," a source told National Enquirer. The singer has recently lost 30 lbs and reportedly her hopes of tying the knot has been the motivation for shifting the pounds.
"Sure she wants to look great for the singing show Duets [she's appearing on], but the driving force behind her weight loss is the holiday nuptials." The source went on.
"She loves to tell him that when he pops the question she'll be at her ideal weight of 120lbs. - and ready to shop for wedding dresses."
The star, who was single for years before finding love with Brandon is said to be desperate to impress her new beau.
"Kelly has been eating [well] and exercising like crazy because she wants to look good for Brandon," the insider added.
We reckon Brandon better put a ring on it soon!
