Before Bruno Mars came out and sang for his LIFE with an amazing performance of his latest single, It Will Rain, on the X Factor USA results show, another powerful vocalist, Kelly Clarkson, kicked the musical guest performances off.

Kelly stepped out on stage in a body-hugging dress to give the debut TV performance of her new single, What Doesnt Kill You (Stronger). With a picture of a cartoon first flashing select lyrics on the big screen behind her, Kelly belted out the empowering tune, singing, What doesnt kill you makes you stronger, stand a little taller. Doesnt mean Im lonely when Im alone.

The performance also gave Kelly a chance to reunite briefly with two of the people who helped her get her start way back on American Idol, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
