WSU students should hurry to purchase tickets to Kelly Clarksons Moms Weekend concert as they are selling fast, said Leo Udy, director of Beasley Coliseum. Clarkson, two-time Grammy award winner and season one champion of American Idol is set to perform at 8 p.m. on Saturday in Beasley Coliseum, ending her Stronger tour of North America. Along with winning two Grammys, Clarkson has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide, has had seven singles in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has won two American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards and 11 Billboard Music Awards, according to a WSU press release. There arent very many tickets left, Udy said. WSU has sold about 6,500 tickets so far out of about 6,800 tickets they have available, which is probably a little more than they sold last year, he said. The midtempo song with a synth-heavy chorus comes from the singer's forthcoming best-of set, Greatest Hits - Chapter 1, which is due on November 19. "Catch My Breath" wasco-written by Clarkson, Jason Halbert and Eric Olson , and it is one of three new songs that will appear on the best-of album.
