Kelly Clarkson Rocks Hoodie, Covers Eminem's "Lose Yourself"
Who knew Kelly Clarkson and Eminem had so much in common?
Both performers, it turns out, really know how to lose themselves on stage -- something Clarkson, 30, proved during her Detroit concert last week when she covered Motor City native Eminem's "Lose Yourself."

In a nod to the hip hop icon's 8 Mile character, the "Stronger" singer donned a gray hoodie to rap and sing the 2002 single, which garnered an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 2003.

Recently, the very first American Idol winner -- currently dating Reba McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock -- opened up to Lucky magazine about not wanting to be defined by any one genre.

"Even though I'm a pop singer, I really have more the life of a country singer," Clarkson explained. "People act like there's this one set of rules to follow to be a pop star and I think, 'Well, you say I'm a pop star, so maybe that's not true.'"
