Kelly Clarkson greets Let There Be Rock school kids before concert

Kelly Clarkson poses with kids from the Delco Let There Be Rock School before her Susquehanna Bank Center concert.

A lucky group of students from the Let There Be Rock School of Music in Delaware County were surprised with a backstage meet-and-greet with Kelly Clarkson before her concert last Thursday. The pop star was on the bill with the Fray at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden.

Let There Be Rock owners John and Melissa Daley rented a bus for 16 of their students, ages 8 to 17, and surprised them with tickets to the show.

Clarkson sang some of her new single, "Dark Side," with the kids and spent a few minutes talking with them about music. She also gave them a shout-out from the stage. Melissa Daley is a former 94 WYSP spokesmodel, and her husband, John, played in Tidewater Grain and then worked in artist management.
