MTV revealed that the tour will start its 30 show trek on July 21 in Ridgefield, Wash., and will be a co-headlining tour with The Fray. It will end on September 15 in Nashville.
The show will be in support of Clarksons latest album, Stronger, which has been certified gold and has produced her 9th and 10th top 10 hits, Mr. Know It All and Stronger (What Doesnt Kill You).
Stronger (What Doesnt Kill You) is Clarksons third No. 1 hit, after previously reaching the top of the charts with her debut single, A Moment Like This and 2009s My Life Would Suck Without You.
Clarkson has recently appeared on NBCs The Voice, serving as a mentor for Team Blake. This summer, she will appear alongside Lionel Richie, Robin Thicke, and Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland on ABCs Duets, where she will serve as both a mentor and a singing partner for the contestants.
Dark Side, the third single from Stronger, is slated to be released soon.
The Fray will be touring in support of their third album, Scars & Stories.
Carolina Liar will serve as the opening act.
Tickets go on sale on April 21.
