Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert to perform on ACMs

Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert will perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Academy announced the first wave of ACM Awards live performers on Wednesday (March 6), and revealed that Luke Bryan and George Strait will join them on the bill.

'Wanted' singer Hunter Hayes and The Band Perry will also make it to the April 7 awards show.

Hayes is one of the major nominees this year, having earned nods in the 'Song of the Year' category for 'Wanted', and 'New Male Vocalist'.

Taylor Swift, Eric Church, Jason Aldea, Floria Georgia Line and Eli Young Band are also up for multiple awards this year.

This year's ceremony will feature returning host Blake Shelton and his new co-host Luke Bryan, who is replacing Reba McEntire.

The 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards will air live on April 7 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on CBS.
