ACM Awards 2013: Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson to Perform

Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton will be pulling triple duty at this years Academy of Country Music Awards, as the show co-hosts and nominees will also hit the stage to perform.

ACM and Dick Clark Productions announced the first round of performers on Wednesday, including Bryan, Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and The Band Perry. All performers aside from Strait, who recently released a new single off his forthcoming album, are nominated for trophies at the April 7 ceremony. (Clarkson, typically regarded as a pop artist, is up for vocal event of the year for her "Don't Rush" collaboration with Vince Gill. It is her third nomination in the category.)

The 48th annual AC! M Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas at 8 p.m. ET and delayed at 8 p.m. PT on CBS. The show marks Sheltons third consecutive hosting stint, while Bryan will try his hand at the gig for the first time.
