I'm probably reading way too much into this, but on Sunday night (Feb. 10) when Kelly Clarkson won the Grammy for best pop vocal album for Stronger, she kind of got stuck on country. Here's what happened: Keith Urban presented the award, and when Clarkson's name was called, she made a few stops before heading to the stage. She hugged everyone and then said something to make John Mayer and Katy Perry laugh. Then she headed straight for Miranda Lambert. They two Texans hugged, and their dresses got a little intertwined. Once she made it up to the stage, Clarkson explained. "I got stuck to Miranda Lambert. There's a story and a song, for later, after alcohol," she laughed. "I get nervous speaking in front of people. I didn't know I was gonna win 'cause literally I was so excited to be in this category." Getting stuck to Lambert could mean nothing. Or it could mean something. Because even though this Stronger album was straight-up Grammy-winning pop, she did remix "Mr. Know It All" last year to give it a country sound.
