Kelly Clarkson Slams British Newspaper Over False, Unflattering Quotes

Kelly Clarkson is upset with the British newspaper The Mirror for misquoting the singer and portraying her as obnoxious and arrogant in a recent headline.
Clarkson said that she was offended and upset over The Mirrors Celebs on Sunday section, reading several quotes that the singer either never said or were taken out of context, used to portray her in a negative light, reports MSN. After reading, she took to Twitter to set the record straight regarding the issue, letting her British fans know thatThe Mirror had it all wrong.
Just to clear up the absolutely wrong so-called quotes from me, I have never had anorexia nor did I ever say, No-one should be as famous as me, Clarkson said of the headline.
The quote attributed to Clarkson by The Mirror appeared in the papers Celebs on Sunday cover over a picture of her.
Of the interview, Clarkson clarified what she had said:
I said in the interview, when asked about fame, that I have no desire to be! as famous as Britney or Madonna. I said that kind of fame was too much for any person and that I have experienced a portion of what they deal with and that I didnt handle that well and Im happy where Im at in my career.
