Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) What started as a project by a group of area high school students is now part of Kelly Clarkson's next music video.

The performer had a contest on her website asking for home-made music videos based on her song, "What Doesn't Kill Me Makes Me Stronger."

Amy Hogan and five of her friends taped themselves dancing in front of the old Vestal High School.

Amy later got an email from RCA Records asking for signed release forms, but didn't know she and her friends would be in Clarkson's video until she saw it online.

"it was really weird because I'm a big fan of Kelly Clarkson, so I'm always watching her music videos," Hogan said. "I've got them all on my iPod, so it was weird that I'm in one now, and it's on my iPod now and I can pause it and say that's me!"

Amy says she enjoys shooting music videos. She says she would love to do it for a career.
