Kelly Clarkson takes top 'Idol' airplay spot

Just five weeks since making its debut, Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All takes the top spot on the American Idol airplay chart this week. Expect it to stay there a while: The single's top 10 on USA TODAY's Hot AC chart and it's in the top 40 of two other formats, AC and Top 40).
However, Daughtry's new music makes its debut this week. Crawling Back to You (which you can hear here, if you haven't already) debuts at No. 31 on the Idol airplay chart and at No. 34 on the Hot AC chart. Rock single Renegade debuts at No. 85 on the Idol airplay chart.
Here's a first: Lauren Alaina's Like My Mother Does got more spins last week than either of Scotty McCreery's singles. Like My Mother Does holds in at No. 39 on the Country chart this week, while Scotty's I Love You This Big has moved to recurrent status and The Trouble With Girls is still climbing the chart.
